John and Richard Glielmi possess over 70 years of combined experience in the construction management and general contracting field. They have both experienced firsthand, all of the tasks required to execute large scale major renovations and new construction projects on time and within budget. John has been in the construction field for over 30 plus years. He has a degree from NYU in Construction / Project Management and Business Management. His career began in the early 1980s where he was the superintendent for a large general contracting firm responsible for overseeing major renovations and new construction for various clients, i.e. Montefiore Hospital, Einstein Hospital, City Bank and Imclone. In 1992 John founded Harley Construction Management Corp. and has been successfully leading the company as President servicing major organizations in and around the New York metropolitan area.
Richard has been in the construction field for over 30 plus years. He completed coursework in Real Estate Development and Financial Analysis at Harvard University. His career began in the late 1970s where he worked summers as a laborer until he became a full-time apprentice in the early 1980s. He was quickly promoted to superintendent where he was responsible for coordinating trades, layouts, design, estimating and supervising alterations, renovations, and new construction. Richard joined Harley Construction Management Corp. in the early 1990s as Vice President and has been integral in their success.
